I was born in Fukuoka, in the south of Japan. After completing my studies at Musashino Art University in Tokyo, I left Japan to continue my education at Central Saint Martins School of Art in London. I then moved to New York to pursue my passion for art. It was there that I met my husband and got married. After our wedding, we settled in Paris to grow our family, as our two daughters were born there.

We arrived in Singapore 10 years ago this year. I have been fortunate to start working again at La Petite École, and it is a great joy for me to help children discover and learn so many new things through rich, unique, and creative experiences, all within a serious yet very joyful environment.
