Having lived and worked in three countries, I am very pleased to join La Petite Ecole in August 2022.

Born and grown up in China, after graduation from Beijing Foreign Studies University in 1997, I lived and worked for 11 years in the city of Hangzhou, one of Chinese “Paradises on Earth”, before moving to Australia with family. I spent eight lovely years in the small but beautiful city of Hobart with my husband and two children. My daughter was born in Hangzhou and son in Hobart. In 2016 we moved to Singapore.

Looking back the 20+ years of working, I realise that I have come along an interesting career path, compassing diverse areas from project management, international liaison, executive assistant, communication, HR in China, to translation and interpretation, nursing and museum gallery in Australia, then back to HR in Singapore. I have a Bachelor Degree in English Literature, a Diploma of Business Administration, a Diploma of Nursing and a Certificate in Tourism. “Live and learn”, as the Chinese saying goes, one is never too old to learn. I have been learning French since the beginning of 2022, and I am very excited to join a French school.

Winnie the Pooh says, “Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved”. I look forward to another new journey with the wonderful team and children at La Petite Ecole.
